Burgdorf Specific Chiropractic is a family owned practice with a focus on traditional "hands only" methods.  Our simple approach coupled with the latest medical research and feedback from our patients, allows us to care for all ages including infants and elderly. Many of our patients have been under our care for their entire lives in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. We have been chiropractors in Rome, New York for many years--and a part of the community!

I have particular empathy for people suffering with migraines. From a young age, I had migraines and found no help until I was introduced to chiropractic. After starting treatments, I found relief from the pain and my migraine headaches went away! This impacted me greatly and led to me becoming a chiropractor. I knew then that I wanted to devote my life to helping people reach their optimal health.

I receved my Doctor of Chiropractic Degree (D.C.) from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. I have been a chiropractor in Rome for any years. I care deeply about our community and the people here!

My wife Jean and I have been married for 58 years. We have six children (two of whom are chiropractors!), 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. My hobbies include: gardening, reading, solving crossword puzzles, tai chi, and singing in my church's choir.

Since I grew up with a father who was a chiropractor, I received regular adjustments during my childhood. I noticed that our family was extremely healthy! Childhood illnesses, fevers, and earaches lessened after chiropractic adjustments. When I grew up, I realized that I wanted to help other families have the kind of healthy lifestyle that I had growing up, too.

I attended Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and received my Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2004. However, I wanted to be a chiropractor in Rome, New York so I returned to Central New York after graduation.

My wife Ann-Marie and I have been married since 1999, and we have three sons. Outside of the office, I am active in my church and my sons' Boy Scout troop. My hobbbies include: woodworking, landscaping, gardening, camping, traveling and biking.
